On the other hand, the Asus ROG Phone 5S Pro comes with a 6,000mAh battery, one of the largest on the market. Not only does it offer a solid gaming experience, but it also provides extraordinary everyday battery life.
Asus also shipped a stable version of Android 11 to the ROG Phone 5. Even though it’s not likely to get Android 13, Asus has promised to provide updates to the ROG Phone 5 series so that we may see Android 13 in the future.
Black Shark 5 Pro
Black Shark 5 Pro gaming phone is an excellent choice if you are looking for a smartphone that has the power to play the most demanding games. Its display, processor, and battery are all optimized for gaming.
The device’s screen is the best in the industry. Its 144Hz refresh rate makes it smooth and pleasing to watch. In addition to its high-resolution FHD+ display, it also has 1.07 billion colors.
Other features include an IP certification, fast Wi-Fi, and a reliable fingerprint sensor. However, one downside to the Black Shark 5 Pro is its battery. Although it has a 4650mAh capacity, the phone isn’t as portable as other handsets. This may be a minus for those who game on the go, but it should be fine for people who don’t.
On the downside, the 144Hz refresh rate display is a bit pricey, but the Black Shark 5 Pro’s 720Hz touch sampling rate and adaptive 144Hz rate work together to make mobile gaming enjoyable.
A 120W charger is included with the Black Shark 5 Pro. Unlike other gaming phones, it can give the device a full charge in 30 minutes.

Regarding battery life, the ROG Phone 5 can handle up to five and a half hours of screen time. That’s a pretty good score. Even if you stream videos from YouTube, you should be fine.
ROG Phone 5 managed 10 hours and 53 minutes of screen time when we tested it in 120Hz mode and just shy of 12 hours and 23 minutes in 60Hz mode. Considering how much time we spent playing games, the phone was able to keep up.
One of the main features of the ROG Phone 5 is the AirTrigger system. It has nine sensors on the phone’s exterior, which can be mapped to specific game actions. These can be used to trigger specific functions or slides.
Another feature is the 6,000mAh battery. Two 3,000mAh cells are located at each end of the phone. This gives the phone a total capacity of 6,000mAh, which should be enough for at least two days of normal usage.
Nubia Red Magic 7

As for the rest of the hardware, it is a small step up from the standard Red Magic 7, although there are some notable improvements. The CPU is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor with an Adreno 730 GPU. The RAM is eight GB of LPDDR5 on the standard version and sixteen GB of RAM on the Pro model.
Black Shark 4 Pro
If you’re looking for a high-performance smartphone capable of recording at 4K, then the Black Shark 4 Pro is an excellent choice. The phone features a 144Hz screen, a blazing fast 120W HyperCharge, and a dual-speaker system that gives you a stereo audio experience.
On the software side, you get the JOYUI UI with several helpful gaming-related features. Among them is a dedicated Shark Space app that helps manage games and minimizes background processes. You can also use the Shark Chan app to change the wallpaper or interact with a virtual avatar.

Other impressive features include a triple rear AI camera and a dedicated 5MP depth-of-field sensor. There’s also a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C port for charging. Its back is also frosted, which adds to the classy aesthetic.
While Black Shark’s display isn’t the largest in the world, it’s still a good size. It uses E4 AMOLED tech and has a 20:9 aspect ratio, so you can watch movies and play games easily.
However, the biggest surprise is its battery. While it has one of the largest capacities in a smartphone, it’s not market-leading. That’s especially true if you’re playing a demanding game.
Sony Xperia 1 IV
The Sony Xperia 1 IV is a premium smartphone with many features and an eye-catching design. It uses a 6.5-inch 4K OLED display, runs on Android 12 (OS X), and sports a pixel density of 408 PPI.

On the other hand, the camera is a slight improvement over the Sony Xperia 1 III. The new cameras support optical image stabilization and 4K video capture at 120 frames per second. There are no computational photography smarts to be found, however.
The Sony Xperia 1 IV is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. This processor provides plenty of processing power to help you play many games. Moreover, it is compatible with Wi-Fi 6E.
The Sony Xperia 1 IV sports a 3.5mm headphone jack for multimedia. It also has IP68 certification for water and dust resistance.
